Agata Pec is a Polish born photographer living and working in London.

Her work is divided between fine art and commercial photography, but her main area of interest in both cases is still life.

Her personal work explores various topics, techniques and forms. Her inspiration comes from different types of art and mediums including film, television and music video clips. Agata is influenced by artists such as David Hockney, Edward Hopper, Man Ray, Edward Weston, David Lachapelle, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Stanley Kubrick among others. Chosen technique depends on the project and topic. Her works are created using both analogue and digital photography. Due to her film school education Agata is also a video maker and plans to make her first documentary soon.

Agata graduated from The National Polish Film School in 2009 with a BA degree in Photography. Her thesis titled "Smokey picture: on smoking in film and photography" was widely appreciated and received a distinction (you can see the project here).
Commercially Agata focuses on editorial still life and beauty photography. She worked for magazines like Esquire, Elle, Men's Health, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Women's Health, Runner's World, FHM, Grazia and Empire; and brands such as Jimmy Choo, Anya Hindmarch, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Monsoon, Charlotte Olympia and Bally.
